The key paid feature
A way back when files change.
Enable versioning for your sync folder on each Windows PC. Keep every captured version for 24 hours, hourly versions for a week, and daily versions for a month. Adjust retention in the app. History lives on that PC’s own disk, with no cloud copy.
Earlier versions can help recover from accidental changes or ransomware that syncs damaged files. They are not an immutable backup: malware or disk failure on the same PC can also damage local history. Keep an independent backup. Changes made and overwritten before the app captures them cannot be recovered.

Is Free a trial?
No. Free includes two devices forever, with no payment card. Existing trial accounts keep Pro features until their original trial or earned extension ends, then return to Free. If you connected more than two devices during preview, remove extras to fit Free; local files and saved history remain.
Why is there a paid tier when Syncthing is free?
Syncthing is an excellent free, open-source choice, and it already has file versioning. Yavisynker charges for a simpler supported Windows product: guided setup, easier onboarding, accessible versioning controls, and priority support from Atlas Studio Digital. Read the honest comparison.
Will Pro or Studio renew automatically?
No. Pro and Studio are one-time licenses stored in your account. Fleet is a separate USD 299 annual plan for signaling reliability and priority support. Paid checkout is not open yet; joining the waitlist does not charge you.
Does Fleet mean unlimited devices?
No. Fleet has a 256-device technical ceiling and fair-use controls. Email us before deploying larger fleets so we can review the setup together.
Do you store my file versions?
No. History is kept on each device’s own disk. You can save a recovered version as a separate file without silently replacing your current work.
